Yep, I'm gonna try to get "caught up" on the end of 2014. We had some great times and I can't stand not to document, if only for my family's sake, what we did and how we did it. So here goes:
We did a family Disneyland Trip for Harvest Break at the end of September. This trip was unique for a few reasons. This was one of the few times that we went to Disneyland with just our family. Big groups are a lot of fun, but it was nice to have just the 6 of us. And, this was the FIRST time when EVERYONE could ride EVERY ride. We are finally "little-kid-less" so there were no strollers, no diapers, no Kid Swap Passes. We hardly knew what to do with ourselves. It was a whole different experience...it was awesome!
Waiting to board the tram into Disneyland.
Not sure who is the most excited...my guess is Eric!
It was really fun to go at Halloween Time.
Everywhere you looked there were pumpkins and fall trimmings. It was so festive!!!
Our first ride of the day was Splash Mountain.
The line was so short this early in the morning that they let us stay on and do it twice. Score!!!!
Who looks the most scared? Not me....no way
A fun group picture...well 3 out of 4 kids are looking. I'll take it.
This picture has a story:
This is the moment when we realized that our kids were old enough to ride rides WITHOUT us.
That opens up a whole new world. Eric and I sat and relaxed in the shade
while the kids rode the Tea Cups (one of my least favorite rides).
We didn't do this often, but it was nice to know that it was a possibility.
Space Mountain -- we didn't love the Halloween changes to that ride...
but Eric still gave it 2 thumbs up
A classic pose in front of the castle.
Isn't my Preteen Daughter adorable in this picture???
