Disneyland Trip (2014) DAY THREE

On the third day of our trip we took a "down day" -- we needed a day to be off our feet and have no schedule.

First we went to breakfast at Knott's Berry Farm. This is a tradition Eric had done as a child. We weren't overly impressed with the breakfast, but it was still fun to take the kids there. We got to look from outside the gates at some of the amazing roller coasters that they have inside Knott's Berry Farm.

Then we went back to where we were staying. Eric needed to do some repairs on our van (which is not out of the ordinary for us) and he was doing a few small repairs at his aunt's house. So the kids and I just sort of lazed around all morning....reading...watching TV. It was a nice break.

 We drove down to Huntington Beach in the afternoon. It was lovely.

We let the kids go wading. We hadn't brought swimsuits, so they were "trying" to stay dry. 

They did okay and weren't TOO wet and sandy.

They enjoyed the brief time playing in the waves.

We went to dinner at In-n-Out Burger near the coast. Then in the evening we headed back to Anaheim and went to explore the Downtown Disney stores. First on the list was the Lego Store.

All the kids were in heaven -- they all LOVE Legos.

We let the kids explore a few more Disney stores before calling it a night and heading for bed. I think it was a fun day.
