Day Four was another day of Disneyland. This was our "Early Entry Day." What a joke. The lines were WAY, WAY longer than the other 2 days...and that was just to get in the park. Half of the rides weren't even open and you couldn't get fast passes. It was such a waste.
That last day was a SCORCHER!!! It was 101 degrees...and not a cloud in the sky. Yes, we are "Arizonans" (or we once were) but our blood has been thickened by all those years in Idaho and we were melting!! Besides, even tough desert dwellers wouldn't choose to stand outside in the sun all day if it was over 100 degrees. It was rough...but still, we were at The Happiest Place on Earth...so you can't complain too much.

We decided to do something we had never done before and ride the Columbia boat around the Rivers of America. We thought it would be a nice rest. It was impressive...but very sunny and hot.
We spent much of our time below deck -- trying to get out of the sun.

It was a wonderful trip. The kids had a blast and were good troopers...for the most part.
We got a little sad at the end thinking that this could possibly be our last time coming to
Disneyland together before the kids start leaving the nest. Crazy.
They were EXHAUSTED kids on the way home. It made for a quiet drive.

I've enjoyed seeing your trip. Almost makes me wanna go back there again. I couldn't have done it in that heat though!
Waited to comment after reading all 3 posts. What a fabulous trip! So glad you got to go together- yes, life could get complicated in the not too distant future. You picked the perfect time! The "Cars landscape looks like St. George red cliffs! Loved your pictures and comments!
