Rexburg had no public pools. No private pools that I was aware of. There was really no place to go swimming or take swim lessons (except the indoor pool at the University) -- until this summer.

We now have a WATERPARK. The kids have been taking swim lessons there the past 2 weeks. It has been about 2 years since they've had any sort of lesson or even much practice swimming. They have come a long way in 2 weeks. The kids have been tortured looking at the water slides & play equipment and lazy river all week while they were busy with their lessons. So we are planning on taking a family trip to the waterpark to play on all the cool "stuff" tomorrow.
Can't you just hear the life guard yelling, "WALK!"
A view of the waterpark.
Sadie is a little fish
Still hasn't lost the farmer's tan -- give it a few more days
Testing the water...luckily it was heated.
With 60-70 degree temps in the morning they NEED heated water.
Colby trying out the deep end with his life jacket on
Mason practicing his back stroke
Renae saying HI to her cousins on the steps
Renae reading while waiting for Colby's lesson
Isn't summer the best!!??!!

What a fun looking water park! I'm glad they have something your you to enjoy and do lessons at! That must have been a BIG change coming from AZ! No Pools?
That place looks cool! Wish we could come back and try it. I'm not sure if the farmers tans ever go away when you live in Idaho. :)
Fun! SUmmer is not summer without a pool and a tan.
