Wallpaper Update

It is down.

It was a hard battle. The paper put up quite a fight. But we conquered.

The kids and I spent a couple hours a day during our Spring Break wetting and peeling and scraping wallpaper. Such a painstaking task.

Unfortunately we weren't very careful where or onto what we were dropping the wet paper as it came off. So sadly, it is now stuck to the floor. And I do mean stuck. This is after sweeping. So I guess I'll have to wet it down again to peel it off the wood. Sigh.

So the paper is all down, but there is still a sticky residue on many sections of the wall. The next step is to get that all off. Good times!

Then comes texturing and priming. Stay tuned...there is still lots of fun ahead!
