Here is a quote I heard at church yesterday that just struck me. It is just what I needed to hear and it rings true for me on so many levels.
"Be patient with yourself. Perfection comes not in this life, but the next. Don't demand of yourself things that are unreasonable, but demand of yourself improvement. Let the Lord help you through, He will make up the difference." -- Elder Russell M. Nelson
My favorite part is "demand of yourself improvement"...we don't have to be the best, just a little better than we were yesterday.

I've said this before, but as a recovering perfectionist, I know it to be true! For me...my mantra is, "Progress not perfection." Life has been so much better since I figured that out! :)
That is a good one. Now to just apply it to myself...
