Catch Up Part 5 - Easter

Easter was a multi-day event full of more family fun.

We dyed easter eggs on Friday with cousins -- lots of hard boiled eggs = lots of deviled eggs later. Yummy!

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt for all the little kids. We had planned on doing it outside but got a surprise snow storm the day before so we had to do it indoors. The kids still had a blast finding the plastic eggs full of candy. I'm pretty sure there is still one that was never found. That seems to always happen. Oh well, someone will find some surprise candy someday. We also had our Easter Dinner on Saturday. Some of the family had to drive home on Sunday so we had our big ham dinner with holiday potatoes on Saturday night.

Sunday was a quiet day in which to reflect on the real meaning of Easter. We went to church and then came home to relax and watched some great Bible Video clips online HERE to help the kids better understand the life and mission of our Savior. It was a perfect end to the Easter festivities.

Oh, and how could I forget....there was also...

a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Ivy has those same Tinkerbell pajamas! I know, a pointless comment, but she does!

Weren't those Bible videos great? We hooked up our computer to the TV and spent time doing that also. So many videos on lds.org now! Gonna try to do that other Sundays too.
