Here are some fun pictures that Eric and I took.
This was the view from the garage, looking up our driveway Monday morning.
We didn't have time to do a full shoveling before we left for work,
so Eric just cleared a tire path for each of our vehicles.
Luckily we have great 4-wheel drive vehicles or this would not have been possible.
A pretty picture of the snow laden trees in our backyard.
They were really sagging with the weight of all that heavy snow.
I thought this was amusing. The trashcans with nearly 2 feet of snow on top of them.
Also note the impressive build up of snow on the wall behind them.
This one has a funny story. Since we had determined that we would not be driving the van this winter, we went ahead and let it get buried. As we shoveled the driveway, we piled the excess snow around and behind the van. Sadly, Eric's junker had car trouble and we had to dig out the van only a few days later so he could use it for a week while he fixed his own car.
This snow almost looks fake to me. It looks like the "flocking" that they spray
on Christmas trees sometimes to give them that snowed-on look.
Sadie having some fun in the new snow!!!
I'm so glad that my kids enjoy playing in the snow so much.

Wow! Awesome pictures! The one of Sadie climbing the snow pile looks like the snow is 5 feet deep! Maybe they should have their Snow Fest in January when there is likely to be more snow. Yes, eerie...Renae and Marin on the same path, same coats, same sled. Reminds me of you and Allison...only these girls have the gospel in common.
That is a lot of snow. I find that strange that they don't fully plow the roads. I bet it helps the roads not get beat up so quickly.
