We found information about one of Eric's ancestors on FamilySearch. The name wasn't new to us, but someone had posted his life story on FamilySearch. It was a fascinating story! He was actually the first person buried in this cemetary in Driggs, Idaho (about 30 minutes from us).

As we walked around the cemetary we found about a dozen more Crandall names
It was so cool. Some of the names we had heard of...others we hadn't. I took pictures of all of them so that we can try to find how they fit on the family tree.
After the cemetary we headed to a park to have lunch.
The weather was absolutely beautiful!!

Last stop was for ice cream cones and milk shakes in Victor, Idaho
After our long day of traveling around Eastern Idaho, we still needed to get our garden planted that evening (no planting before Memorial Day in Rexburg). Our good friends across the street, the Thompsons, had a huge garden plot. They said they would only be planting half of it, and they offered us the other half of their space. It was a huge blessing because we haven't had time to till, clear, and get sprinklers fixed in our new garden space (old garden space is in a construction zone right now). It was hard work, but we did it fast. We are new to gardening and we aren't very exact. We made some rows, poked holes, and dropped in seeds. We planted green beans, purple beans, carrots, bell peppers, peas, zucchini, and pumpkins. We'll see how it goes...
