Utah Trip -- A special weekend

Day THREE -- Baptism and Williams Extended Family Reunion

On Saturday, my sister Rachael's youngest daughter Tessia was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was an important day in her life. We were so glad we got to share this special day with her.

The family members from our side of the family...some Jensens and Williams

The Galvez Family

Later that evening we got together with my dad's side of the family. We don't see them very often, for some of my cousins it had been years since we had seen each other.

It was kind of interesting. We unintentionally broke into generations. Generation 1 was inside. Generation 2 was in the front yard. Generation 3 was in the backyard. There were a few generation jumpers (like Mason seen here) but not many.
The cousins and spouses setting up camp in the front yard. Good times!

My 2 sisters are on the end in turqouise and my 2 cousins are on my sides.
So many good memories together as children and also in college...we all went to BYU.

The Williams Brothers -- do you see a slight family resemblance???

My mom, Aunt Jill, Janelle, and Aunt Linda

My Uncle Clyde and Aunt Kathy --
Clyde has been fighting a tough battle with cancer.
We love him and admire his courage and spirit.

I didn't get many pictures of Generation 3.
But here are some of the teens -- watching some Studio C.

Day FOUR -- Baby Blessing

Janelle's new baby Emeline (Emmy) was blessed at their church on that Sunday. We felt honored to be able to attend this special event as well.
After the blessing we had a nice picnic lunch.
All family gatherings (in this family) seem to center around food. It was a very yummy lunch!

My Grandma Jensen, Janelle, and Emmy. What a nice picture.

The Day family!
