Yep, our little "baby" is 5 years old now. Sadie started out her day with her requested Chocolate Chip Muffins for breakfast -- eaten on the special "Birthday Plate."
Midway through breakfast, Sadie switched into doggie mode
and began eating with no hands
(this is not something I usually allow -- but hey, it was her birthday!)
We just a had our own little family party this year.
Note the outfit. Sadie is into dressing herself these days
and the ensembles are...creative at times.
Sadie got lots of fun presents from family members (immediate & extended)
and she loved them all.
My camera couldn't keep up with her all her excited and exuberant faces.
But I like this picture best...because it is pure joy over a dollar store coloring book.
Sadie's cake was of course....YELLOW.
She is in obsessed with everything yellow.
Sadie got a "big girl" scooter for her birthday (has 2 wheels instead of 3).
Even though it was cold oustide, she wanted to take the scooter for a spin.
Luckily the sun was out and the sidewalks were clear.
She actually rode it around for quite a while and really got good at the whole balancing thing.

Wow, can't believe she's 5, and she looks like a little Heather! Also amazed at how you have so little snow, looks just like our lawn here!

How could your baby be 5? Sorry we didn't call on that day. Still need to find a place to put up my b-day calendar.
