The Big "IF"

The word heard most often around our house these days is "IF" --

IF we get a job in Rexburg, then Colby can sign up for soccer.
IF we get a job in Rexburg, then Sadie can be in the neighborhood Kindergarten carpool.
IF we get a job in Rexburg, and IF we buy this house, then we can get rid of the ugly yellow paint in the office or the white carpet under the dining room table.
IF we get job A, would we want to live there? IF we get job B, would we want to live there?
IF we get a good job, then we can finally buy a car that was made in the 21st Century!
IF we get any job, then Sadie can get a real bed and get out of the toddler bed.

The list goes on and on. I know that we should stop. And just be patient. But it is hard not to plan for your future....whatever it may be. So we play the IF game....it is kind of like Pollyanna's "Glad Game" -- it keeps our spirits up and gives us hope and something to look forward to.

Just "Keep your Sunny Side Up!" It will all work out, however it works out! You've still got to be fluid and flexible, because you could be starting a new life....again!
