It is past the "ides of March" (did anyone else walk around all day yesterday saying "Beware the Ides of March" -- a quote from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar?) Uh, yeah, me neither. Anywho...is is past the middle of March and the calendar says Spring is only a few days away, so it is about time that it FELT like Spring. This morning the kids went outside and couldn't believe how warm it felt. Colby and Sadie went and just sat on the front porch in their pajamas and bare feet to soak in the sun. Mason put on shorts. We opened a window for the first time since October.
Then, just out of curiosity we went to check what the temperature was. 33 degrees. Unbelievable! But if FELT so warm. And the sun was out!!! We haven't seen a blue sky in a while. So maybe that doesn't seem like Spring where you live...but for us, it does. We may still have patches of snow in the front yard and a foot of snow in the shady backyard, but we are pulling out the bikes and hanging up the coats. Spring is on its way!!! I can hardly wait.

Glad you can see & feel the light at the end of winter's tunnel. I totally remember when the 30s felt like a warm up last month. Soon you'll have some real warm weather like us. All our snow is gone. :) And I've had to start doing spring yard work already. :(
