Colby's Baptism

Colby made the decision to be baptized into our church the first weekend of May. It was a lovely service and we were happy to have family there to be with us on this joyous occasion. It is hard to believe that my little Colbers is old enough to take this big step. I'm so proud of him and the good choices he is making.
Many pictures were taken on this special day...here is a generous sampling of them. My favorite one is at the bottom so at least scroll down to that one!

Father and Son in their whites

Colby with his cousin Kaiden who will be baptized next month

Classic Group Shot so Colby can remember who was there that day

Our own little family. Can you see how Mason has almost caught up to me in height!

Colby endured the photo shoot very well -- but this is how he REALLY felt about it

Picture of all the happy cousins -- Take One
Somebody isn't happy! Guess who?

Take Two -- without the sad little one year old

Take Three -- somebody is stealing the show!

Let's not forget whose special day this is

How did they all end up in matching dresses?
They threw this together 20 minutes before the baptism sharing each others' dresses.
Too bad we didn't think to call Debbie --
she said her girls both had dresses that color too. Darn it!
Dressing alike is so fun when you are that age.

I think the men are done...
"Can't we go home and EAT??"

We walked back to our home after the service (we live about a block from the church) and enjoyed a lovely picnic in the backyard. My sister-in-law snapped this last shot as we were walking home.
I love it!!!

Colby in his natural state -- rambunctious and a bit crazy...

he just had to stop to swing from the tree in our old front yard
What can you say...he is our special COLBERS.

Congratulations Colby! I love those cousin pics. Sorry about Becca leaving in tears, but how did you get Spencer to be happy in those?! Amazing per what Janelle has been saying lately.
