Sadie has had a lot of fun in the past few months with her Daisy (and now Brownie) troop.

In August they did a Sleep Over at the Zoo in Idaho Falls. Sadie had been looking forward to this all year long. They got to sleep in tents and go "behind the scenes" with the animals. She was in heaven!

The Daisy troop also did a Powder Puff Pinewood Derby. I'd never seen or heard of this being done before, but the girls sure had a lot of fun with it.

It wasn't the fastest car on the track...or even close, but she tried not to let that get to her (too much)and was a good sport.

 

A fun event that we look forward to doing each year is the Family Girl Scout Night at the Straw Maze. The weather was nice and we did better at the maze this year. We never even had to ask for help!

Sadie has really enjoyed being a part of Girl Scouts. She doesn't love the cookie sales, but she has such a good time doing everything else that it is worth the few weeks of bother.
