Sadie, sweet lady

So my final child bragging session will be devoted to Miss Sadie (age 4). Sadie is "the baby of the family" but gets angry if you ever use that term in her presence. She is our little princess and is not afraid to tell you that. She has very strong opinions on everything and loves to share them. She loves to draw, ride her scooter and play with animals (just like her big sister). She cracks me up with her insights and explanations of everything. Here are two recent examples:

She told my friend yesterday, "Yellow is my favorite color. Because it reminds me of when Jesus was a baby, cause he was pretty shiny."

Or a few days ago Sadie was loading the dishwasher. She had all the kid cups lined up (see picture below) I didn't think they would all stay balanced that way so I was going to move one. But she explained, "MOM, the pink and yellow ones are the queens and they are guarding the soldiers because now the soldiers are in trouble." Who knew that loading the dishwasher could be so fun? But Sadie makes everything fun and we are so glad to have her in our family.

Sadie is notorious for wiping her food on her sleeves.
All her clothes are stained on the arms and shoulders.
Here she is TRYING to use a paper towel to keep clean during breakfast.

Sadie loves climbing trees. Here she is in our front yard tree.

And of course, a Family Bowling Night picture.
